In this role, you will be responsible for applying chemical agents to control pests, manage outdoor landscapes, and support agricultural or landscaping projects. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery to perform pesticide applications and landscape treatments. Prepare and handle chemical agents with precision, adhering strictly to safety protocols including respiratory protection and confined space entry procedures. Apply pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals accurately using spray equipment, ensuring proper coverage and effectiveness. Conduct outdoor work in various environments such as lawns, farms, landscapes, or agricultural fields while following all safety guidelines. Perform pest control treatments targeting insects, rodents, or other pests using integrated pest management techniques. Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, application sites, and safety compliance in accordance with pesticide management regulations. Interact professionally with customers to explain treatment processes, address concerns, and ensure a positive service experience. Requirements Proven experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping or related outdoor work environments. Knowledge of pesticide application methods and chemical handling procedures. Familiarity with ladder safety procedures and ladder use for accessing elevated areas safely. Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, farm machinery, and hand tools efficiently. Understanding of safety protocols including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection measures. Ability to operate a company vehicle responsibly and safely for transportation between job sites. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about pest control solutions. Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks that may involve climbing ladders, lifting equipment or chemicals, and working in varying weather conditions.
