Crystal Greens Landscape, a proud Sperber company, is seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Commercial Pesticide Operator to support the health and beauty of our clients' trees, shrubs, and turf across the region. About the Role As a Pesticide Operator, you'll play a key role in diagnosing and treating plant health issues through the targeted application of herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers. This full-time position offers year-round work. Responsibilities Safely and effectively apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to commercial landscapes Identify common pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies in turf, trees, and ornamentals Calibrate, mix, and apply treatments in accordance with label requirements and safety protocols Maintain accurate application records Operate and maintain spray equipment and company vehicles Provide winter support through snow and ice management operations Professional Applicator License required Working knowledge of local pest and disease issues affecting turf, trees, and shrubs Ability to safely mix and apply chemical treatments Strong attention to detail, time management, and safety procedures Willingness to work full-time, including winter months Team-oriented with a commitment to high-quality service
