Job Description DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking to hire an Industrial Vegetation Management Spray Technician (IVM Technician) to join our team. The applicant will have the opportunity to work in various urban and rural areas. This person will handle using equipment to perform herbicide applications to the county and state roadside rights-of-way to control unwanted vegetation. This position handles spraying complete weed, grass, and brush control to various commercial or industrial sites. This position is seasonal Applies herbicide to control weeds, grass, and brush to various commercial and industrial sites, including but not limited to oil refineries, solar fields, substations, and gas lines. Conducts daily tank mixing. Calibrates all spray equipment. Conducts truck inspections (responsible for truck/spray system maintenance and repairs). Ensures all work is conducted in compliance with strict safety guidelines. Drives company vehicles. Qualifications
ABILITY TO TRAVEL
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. 19+ years of age. Clean driving record Ability to travel 1-2 weeks at a time (paid by company) Lift 50-60 pounds. Experience with mobile IOS Operation System is a plus. Work days, nights, weekends, and overtime, as needed, in adverse outdoor conditions. Commercial Applicator's License is preferred. (Company supplied if not currently certified).
