In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a variety of landscapes, ensuring they are healthy, beautiful, and functional. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and the use of hand tools and power equipment will be essential in delivering top-quality results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in horticulture and construction, and contribute to creating stunning environments for clients. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine. Use hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems to complete projects efficiently. Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth. Assist with hardscape installations like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features. Support lawn care services including aeration, fertilization, weed control, and snow plowing during winter months. Maintain garden beds by planting new greenery, mulching, watering, and performing general horticultural practices. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use to maximize safety and longevity. Experience Prior experience with landscaping or gardening is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential. Mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, tree trimming, hardscape installation, and snow plowing. Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care best practices will help ensure successful project outcomes. Ability to operate construction machinery such as excavators or similar equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of safety procedures when working with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery. Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are necessary for success in this role.
