Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Spray Technician to join our lawn care team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to residential and commercial properties to maintain healthy, attractive lawns. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good customer service skills, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Starting pay will depend on previous work experience relatable to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and accurately apply lawn care products including fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides. Operate spray equipment, spreaders, and other machinery according to manufacturer guidelines. Diagnose lawn problems such as weeds, pests, and diseases and recommend appropriate treatments. Maintain accurate records of treatments performed, materials used, and customer interactions. Communicate effectively with customers, providing education and recommendations for lawn care. Ensure equipment is clean, maintained, and in safe working order. Comply with all safety procedures and environmental regulations. Assist with additional lawn maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or pest control is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Work Conditions:
Outdoor work environment, subject to seasonal weather conditions. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. May involve early mornings, long hours, or weekend work during peak season.
