Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Spray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying pesticides, herbicides, and other treatments to various landscapes and commercial/residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of pest control methods, as well as the ability to operate equipment effectively. The Spray Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining healthy environments for both residential and commercial properties. Duties Apply pesticides and herbicides according to safety regulations and best practices. Operate backpack and power sprayers for efficient application of treatments. Conduct thorough inspections of landscapes to identify pest or problem issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Maintain accurate records of applications, including types of chemicals used and areas treated. Collaborate with sales teams to provide customers with information on services offered. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition. Follow all safety protocols to protect yourself, clients, and the environment. Skills Knowledge of pest control techniques and landscape management. Proficiency in operating farm machinery, hand tools, and power tools. Strong to effectively communicate service offerings to clients. Ability to drive safely to various job sites while adhering to traffic regulations. Familiarity with lawn care practices is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing conditions on the job.
