Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position involves assisting with landscape installation, maintenance, and repair projects across residential, commercial, and public properties. You will work alongside experienced professionals to develop your skills in landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and horticultural practices. Duties Assist with landscape installation tasks including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and laying hardscape features such as patios and walkways Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, trimming, and aeration to ensure healthy and attractive turf Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, pruning, and soil preparation Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as fertilizing, mulching, and pest control Use equipment like excavators for larger projects under supervision and perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery Provide tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal while adhering to safety standards Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients Support hardscape construction projects by preparing surfaces and installing features with precision Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design basics is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions Strong attention to safety procedures when operating equipment or working at heights Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques Prior experience in construction or tree care is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Embark on a rewarding journey where your hands-on skills help craft inspiring outdoor environments!
