Lawn Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Technician to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, and be capable of performing a variety of lawn and garden care tasks. Responsibilities Perform lawn care and maintenance including mowing, edging, and trimming using hand tools and power tools Operate excavation equipment such as excavators for landscaping projects Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes Conduct gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, and fertilizing plants and shrubs Assist with landscape construction projects, including soil preparation and installation of features Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal operation Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues with landscaping machinery Support general landscape maintenance tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a secure work environment Preferred Skills Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is preferred Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening, and horticulture practices Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and construction processes Mechanical knowledge related to maintaining and repairing tools and machinery Proficiency with hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) Ability to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting mechanical or operational issues Reliable transportation is
