- Full-time SUMMARY We are looking for a very specific type of individual that sees pest management as a profession to be respected.
Established routes available:
Residential, Commercial (non food service) / Industrial Mosquito Management, Termite Management (no fumigation) If this interests you, please keep reading. Annual pay is $47280.00- 55,080.00 (experience and knowledge dependent). Does not include sales commissions
- Paid weekly $909
- 1009 for a 40 hour work week.
Holidays:
Christmas Day, New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day, July 4th Day, Labor Day Annual Bonus up to 2% of annual base pay (performance based on attainable professional service criteria)- Sales of any kind are not required but commission opportunities exist for the right candidate.

work outdoors, get into and out of attics (as needed)PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect property to determine pest identification and activity (if any), identify conducive conditions, locate harborage, locate potential points of entry, and determine best control path forward including application (s) required to eliminate and/or prevent pest events at client locations. Identify invasive pests, including but not limited to: various perimeter pests, nuisance ants, rodents, termites and other wood destroyers, flying insects including wasps, fire ants, spiders, mosquitoes. etc.Calculate / Measure
area dimensions required for certain applications. Have label comprehension as it relates to label directions, limitations, prohibitions, post application re-entry instructions and product disposal. Ensure safety procedures are followed for application and reentry. Utilize appropriate PPE gear as required and maintain PPE equipment. Has a desire to expand knowledge as it relates to controls, methods and materials. Have a desire to expand or acquire skill sets and their service application Make minor structural changes such as; exterior exclusion and interior; installing bath trap access covers.Service rodent controls:
set, apply attractant, remove carcasses and properly dispose of carcass. Understands the company provided service vehicle is your mobile office. Keep service vehicle organized, professional, clean and follow all related material transport and personal safety requirements and regulations. Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicle. Maintain professional appearance including clean company uniform, appropriate footwear and maintaining personal hygiene. Build positive, strong relationships with clients. Work to exceed client expectations. Communicate with clients on how to avoid pest problems when appropriate. Follow up with the client point of contact before and after providing pest prevention services. Whenever possible, explain actual or potential problems to clients face-to-face. Manage client work orders through use of company provided technology. Know and maintain continued awareness of all SPCS regulations. Participate fully in training opportunities provided to enhance knowledge and to meet requirements for advanced licensing. Respond cooperatively with requests for help from fellow employees. Be part of a team. Periodically (occasionally) client service requests must be addressed asap. Make yourself available if required to meet client expectations. this may include, occasional weekends and evenings. As a matter of HPM culture we respond to client complaints as quickly as possible after receiving notification.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Thorough knowledge of common practices, tools and terminology used to control pests; thorough knowledge of the use and characteristics of pesticides. Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions associated with the work. Ability to work from sketches, drawings, plans or specifications Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to apply pesticides chemicals in accordance with established regulations and to read, understand and follow chemical label instructions Ability to perform mathematical calculations to estimate materials and time needed to complete task Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate with a diverse population. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, crawl through attics, use a ladder to access attics. Skilled in the use of tools and equipment necessary to perform tasks (Tools include: iPad, Spray rigs, infrared camera, fiber optic tools, Back pack application equipment, Mosquito Mist Back Pack unit, etc)EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED A valid Texas Department of Agriculture SPCS General Pest Certified Applicator or Technician License. A preferred but not required aTermite CA or Technician License Job Type:
