Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to promote healthy turf growth. Apply pesticides, herbicides, and other chemical agents safely and accurately following pesticide management and integrated pest management protocols. Use hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and ladder equipment to access hard-to-reach areas and perform maintenance tasks efficiently. Conduct pest control treatments targeting insects, rodents, or other pests using appropriate chemical handling procedures and pest control techniques. Follow safety protocols rigorously during all activities, including ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection use, and chemical handling. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while adhering to driving safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work performed and addressing any concerns professionally. Skills Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, landscaping techniques, farming principles, and agriculture fundamentals. Mechanical knowledge of farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and pest control equipment. Experience with pesticide application knowledge including pesticide management and pest control chemical handling. Familiarity with entomology concepts related to pest identification and integrated pest management strategies. Ability to safely use ladders and operate equipment at various heights while following ladder use and ladder safety procedures. Understanding of confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection requirements for chemical handling. Excellent customer service skills combined with outdoor work experience in landscaping or farming environments.
