Lawn Care Technician Mission:

The Lawn Care Technician adds comfort & value to properties by providing Lawn treatments and evaluations to our clients and their properties with client experience, excellence and safety in mind.

Scope Of Work:

The Lawn Care Technician is responsible for lawn care, liquid aeration & flower bed weed control treatments of assigned clients. The technician completes daily routes treating lawns & flower beds with fertilizer, weed control, and pest/disease prevention. The technician also provides detailed reports and evaluations of each property to each client as well as documentation that complies with Texas Department of Agriculture regulations. The Lawn Care Technician reports to the Lawn Care Production Leader.

Primary Responsibilities:

Job Safety. Apply lawn care, liquid aeration & flower bed weed control treatments to client properties as needed or instructed. Responsibly use chemicals according to label and as instructed. Provide a detailed evaluation of each property. Offer recommendations to clients as needed for additional services and property needs. Maintain client accounts in our CRM and maintain exceptional communication. Maintain proper record keeping of products used as regulated by the TDA. Stay educated on the maintenance and care of a property's lawn, landscape, and pest control needs. Stay up to date with processes and procedures. Upkeep of assigned vehicle and equipment needed to perform job duties.

Working Conditions:

Independent/solo position that requires self-motivation and independent thinking. Regular driving on residential and city streets. Most hours demand labor-intensive physical work outside. Computer and smart device usage daily. 45+ hours per week. Some seasonal demands will require 50+ hours.

Physical Demands:

As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be driving a truck to and from client properties and lifting heavy equipment and materials. Must be able to lift 75 plus lbs. Must be able to stand and walk long distances daily. Must be able to withstand all weather conditions.

Job Requirements:

Basic plant identification, including local grass and weeds (or willing to learn) 1-3 years customer service experience Typing 35 wpm, at least Computer knowledge required High School diploma or equivalent Clean driving record Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Job Expectations:

As a team member, you are expected to provide a professional and friendly service to all of our clients, vendors and team. Every client should have their phone calls and/or emails returned within 12 hours of the time they tried to contact us. Again, you are expected to juggle multiple tasks at once while maintaining a positive attitude and demeanor. You should communicate with your direct report if you feel you are unable to complete certain tasks so he or she can help when possible.
