Job Description

Mowing Maintains a straight, consistent mowing pattern. Cuts at the proper height for the grass type. Avoids scalping, uneven cuts, and missed strips. Mows safely around trees, flower beds, fences, and landscape features. Changes mowing direction when appropriate to promote healthy turf. Blows grass clippings off sidewalks, driveways, patios, and streets before leaving. Inspects the lawn for rocks, toys, hoses, or other debris before mowing. Weed-Eating (String Trimming) Produces clean, straight edges along sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and flower beds. Trims evenly around trees, fences, mailboxes, utility boxes, AC units, and posts. Avoids damaging tree bark, flowers, irrigation heads, fences, and property. Maintains a consistent trimming height without gouging the ground. Leaves no tall grass or missed areas around obstacles. Professionalism & Safety Arrives on time and prepared for work. Performs a pre-trip equipment inspection. Checks fuel, oil, trimmer line, blades, and battery levels before leaving the shop. Wears proper safety equipment, including eye and hearing protection. Communicates with the crew leader if any issues arise. Treats every customer's property with respect. Cleans the work area before leaving the property.
