In this role, you will play a key part in transforming and maintaining premium outdoor environments. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating specialized equipment, and taking pride in executing high-quality property maintenance, this position offers an excellent opportunity to expand your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Primary Responsibilities Equipment Transportation:
Utilize your personal truck to safely transport commercial lawn care machinery and tools between job sites.
Turf Management:
Execute precise mowing, edging, and string trimming to deliver clean, manicured turf layouts.
Property Upkeep:
Perform essential seasonal maintenance, including mulching, detailed weeding, shrub pruning, and flowerbed care.
Equipment Operation:
Safely handle and maintain power tools such as blowers, hedge trimmers, and mechanical edgers.
Site Development:
Assist with hardscape preparation and minor earthmoving tasks utilizing excavators and specialized construction tools.
Water Systems:
Support the setup, monitoring, and repair of property irrigation systems to ensure optimal plant health.
Soil & Plant Health:
Apply fertilizers, conduct core aeration, and assist with basic pest management to promote lush, sustainable landscapes.
Winter Operations:
Participate in winter weather response, including snow removal and ice management, to keep client properties safe and clear.
Candidate Requirements Industry Background:
Prior experience in commercial landscaping, groundskeeping, or professional gardening is highly valued, though a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are critical.
Technical Aptitude:
Familiarity with operating and maintaining small engines, hand tools, irrigation components, or compact machinery (excavators).
Safety First Mindset:
Proven ability to strictly follow safety protocols and manage equipment responsibly on-site.
Physical Capability:
Stamina to handle demanding outdoor labor across changing seasonal weather conditions, including the ability to lift heavy materials routinely.
Execution & Detail:
Exceptional organizational habits and a sharp eye for quality control across multiple daily projects.
Logistics:
Must possess a reliable truck capable of hauling equipment daily.
