High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid Driver's License
Position Summary:
This is an entry level position in our Buildings & Grounds Department. Help maintain the appearance and safety of county-owned properties and public spaces. This role involves performing routine lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, watering, and debris removal, as well as assisting with seasonal upkeep and basic equipment care. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, able to operate standard lawn care equipment safely, and capable of performing physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and committed to maintaining high standards of public service.
Special Requirements
Must be able to get a Jailer's license.
