The Position:

Pacific Lawn & Pest is hiring an experienced, currently licensed Washington Commercial Applicator to join our team. This is an independent route position. You will operate a company truck, manage an organized daily route, and provide lawn, landscape, and pest-control services at residential and commercial properties throughout the Spokane area. We are specifically looking for someone who already has professional application experience and is properly licensed in Washington and or Idaho. We are not currently hiring an entry-level or unlicensed applicator for this position.

Schedule:

Full-time seasonal employment from March through early November each year Monday through Friday schedule Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some overtime may be available during busy weeks, but it is not regularly required

Primary Responsibilities:

Apply lawn fertilizer and weed-control products Perform tree and shrub applications Provide exterior perimeter pest-control services Perform rodent-control services Complete bare-ground weed-control applications Properly calculate, mix, and apply products according to label requirements Safely handle chemicals, fertilizers, and application equipment Maintain accurate application records, route information, and required paperwork Inspect and maintain assigned equipment and company vehicle Communicate professionally with customers when needed Work independently while completing an assigned daily route

Required Qualifications:

Current Washington Commercial Applicator License Laws and Safety qualification Ornamental Weed endorsement Previous professional application experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable, honest, and able to work independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe application practices Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Ability to walk residential and commercial properties throughout the day Ability to repeatedly handle hoses, backpack sprayers, and application equipment Willingness to work outdoors in changing weather, including summer heat
