Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Lawn Care & Landscape Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and lawn care services that enhance the beauty and health of our clients' outdoor spaces. Your expertise in landscaping, groundskeeping, and equipment operation will contribute to creating vibrant, well-maintained environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in horticulture and landscape management, and be part of a passionate team dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to maintain healthy, attractive turf and plantings Operate a variety of grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, tree care, shrub trimming, and hardscape installation or repair Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols and environmental guidelines to promote plant health Assist with snow plowing or outdoor winter maintenance during seasonal changes Identify plants, trees, pests, and diseases to ensure proper care and treatment practices are followed Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools required for safe operation Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, pruning, planting, and hardscape work Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management is highly desirable Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or tree care equipment is a plus Strong adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all tasks Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Construction experience or background in groundskeeping is advantageous Valid driver's license with a clean record preferred for equipment operation and site access Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces while advancing your skills in landscape management!
