Lawn Maintenance & Route Development Specialist (Growth Opportunity) Davis Dreamscapes, LLC Oshkosh, WI 54901 From $21.50 an hour - Part-time From $21.50 an hour - Part-time Are you looking for a long-term career rather than just a temporary summer gig? We are a growing residential lawn care company that prioritizes quality over quantity , and we are seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented professional who wants to grow with us and eventually run our entire maintenance division. This role features a structured, "soft start" path to leadership: You will begin by working directly alongside the owner. This hands-on training period allows you to master our standards, understand our clients' properties, and absorb our company culture. The ultimate goal is for you to transition into a fully autonomous, self-managed role leading the maintenance side of the business for years to come. Long Term:
This is not just a seasonal summer job. We want an individual who is looking for permanent, multi-season employment.
The Ramp-Up:
Starting at approximately 30 hours per week with a clear goal and route-growth plan to reach full-time (40+ hours) by mid-summer .
Year-Round Opportunity:
Consistent hours through the peak spring/summer/fall lawn maintenance seasons, transitioning smoothly into winter snow removal services for year-round income stability.
Key Responsibilities Mentorship & Co-Operation:
Work alongside the owner initially to learn the routes, expectations, and high standards of quality.
Autonomous Property Maintenance:
As you transition to solo work, you will independently manage your route using a mix of commercial walk-behind mowers and field mowing equipment.
Precision Detail Work:
Perform meticulous string trimming on every visit and execute immaculate property cleanup (blowing off driveways, walkways, and patios).
Property Improvement & Growth:
Evaluate turf and landscape conditions on-site; proactively recommend improvements to clients and distribute local marketing materials (flyers/door hangers) to actively build route density.
Job Requirements Long-Term Career Mindset:
You want stability, career progression, and possess the ambition to eventually manage a division.
High Trustworthiness:
Ability to work diligently, efficiently, and honestly on your own as you transition to solo operations.
Physical Stamina:
Comfortable walking several miles a day and working outdoors in summer heat and varying weather conditions.
Lawn Care Eye:
Experience with commercial walk-behind mowers and string trimmers is preferred.
Reliability:
Valid driver's license, a clean driving record to operate a company truck/trailer, and dependable transportation. Preferred (But Not Required)
Chemical Experience:
Experience or licensing with fertilizer and weed control products is a major plus and welcomed, though not required for hire.
