Fert/Herb Manager Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service. Mix pesticides for applications to lawn, tree and shrubs per label rates. Must be able to read pesticide labels and understand them. Fill sprayer tanks with water and chemicals according to label rates. Lift, push and pull spreaders, spray hose to treat designated areas of the customers landscape. Must maintain application equipment to ensure proper function. Maintain job documentation. Work independently and in larger team setting Must work snow removal operations during the winter months Maintains a clean and presentable truck and equipment. Maintains equipment No call backs Must properly fill out paperwork for customer leave behinds and proper paperwork for billing purposes and state requirements to keep on file. Makes sure quality of job and proper procedures are followed. Teach crew members procedures and production techniques Provide input to help improve estimating and production Qualifications Education/Experience Maintain a Wisconsin Turf and Ornamental Pesticide Certification. Must possess valid driver's license. Skills/Knowledge Ability to perform a thorough site analysis to determine current vegetation, grading, and environmental factors. Verbal and written communications skills. Extensive gardening experience with knowledge of perennials, shrubs, and trees as well as hardscape design concepts and applications. Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting and maintaining plants in a landscape Ability to drive truck w/ trailer. Maple Leaf is 100% drug free, must pass drug testing.
