Sunday Nursery Worker Petal First Methodist Church - Petal, MS Petal First Methodist Church is seeking a dependable and caring Sunday Nursery Worker to provide childcare during our weekly worship service.

Sundays, approximately 10:00 AM-11:30

AM Worship Service:

AM Pay:

$40 per Sunday The Nursery Worker should plan to arrive around 10:00 AM to prepare the nursery and be ready to receive children before worship begins. Responsibilities Provide a safe, welcoming, and caring environment for infants and young children during Sunday worship. Supervise and engage children with age-appropriate play and activities. Assist with basic childcare needs as necessary. Help maintain a clean and organized nursery space. Follow all church child-safety policies and procedures. Work alongside church volunteers who may assist in the nursery on Sundays. Qualifications Dependable and able to commit consistently to Sunday mornings. Comfortable caring for infants and young children. Patient, responsible, attentive, and welcoming to families. Previous childcare experience is preferred. Must be willing to complete a background check and follow church child-protection policies.
