Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for working in an agricultural or greenhouse environment. This role requires hands-on involvement with various tasks, including equipment maintenance, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of quality in our operations. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure smooth operations. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks related to equipment repair and maintenance. Operate farm machinery as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Manage greenhouse activities, including planting, growing, and caring for plants. Handle animals responsibly when required, ensuring their well-being and safety. Train new employees on proper procedures and safety measures. Maintain accurate records of production, equipment usage, and staff performance. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment and coordinate repairs as necessary. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role within an agricultural or related environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and maintain equipment. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, and greenhouse operations. Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately when required. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and provide clear instructions. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing tasks and responsibilities.
