- Plant Care Specialist Hi Plant People, G&G Interiors is growing, and we're looking for an exceptional, detail-obsessed individual to join our Portland-based team. We don't just "water plants"
- we curate and care for vibrant plant displays for well-known commercial clients like The Ritz-Carlton and Jaguar Land Rover.
Role:
Excellence and Professionalism As a G&G Plant Technician, you are the steward of our clients' biophilic vision! This role requires more than just a green thumb; it requires a meticulously organized professional who can manage a complex schedule with assertiveness and treat every client with elite-level customer service.Your core responsibilities will include:
Showcasing Perfection:
Providing full-spectrum plant care- watering, pruning, staking, grooming, cleaning, fertilizing, pest monitoring and more
- to ensure every plant and container looks flawless and install-ready every day.
Assertive Schedule Management:
You are responsible for your own calendar. This means sticking to a regular, predictable schedule and managing your time effectively to ensure every account is serviced to G&G standards without the need for constant oversight.Elite Customer Service:
Acting as the face of G&G. You must be comfortable interacting positively with property managers, office teams and staff, addressing concerns with professionalism and confidence.Independent Prioritization:
You will self-manage your daily tasks and priorities, troubleshoot site issues, maintain your route's plant health and provide consistent, clear reporting to your manager.Hands-On Team Support:
This is an active field role. You may also help load and unload plants and materials and assist with installs, replacements, holiday decor and other special projects as needed. Plant Experience & Portfolio Plant experience is required. That can come from professional interiorscaping, a greenhouse, nursery, landscaping, gardening, horticulture work, or a substantial personal plant collection. Maybe plants were part of an earlier job and your career took you somewhere else, that's okay too. Applicants must submit photos of plants they have personally cared for- home collections, client spaces, gardens or past work.
