Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Turf Management Director to lead our turf care operations, ensuring the highest standards of turf quality, maintenance, aesthetics. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of turf management, Implement chemical application programs and supervise teams of turfcare professionals. Your expertise will drive excellence in lawn care, turf health and chemical application systems; fostering a vibrant and healthy outdoor space that exceeds expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase leadership skills while maintaining beautiful, functional turfscapes that inspire. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and supervision of turf management activities across multiple sites. Oversee lawn care routines including fertilization, aeration, overseeding, and pest control to maintain lush, healthy turf. Supervise crews responsible for chemical application. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of grounds maintenance equipment and landscape tools; operate company vehicles as needed. Identify turf disease and weed presence accurately to diagnose issues related to horticulture or plant health; implement appropriate care strategies. Coordinate with irrigation techs in regards to installation, repair, and ongoing management to optimize water efficiency and turf vitality. Enforce safety protocols during outdoor work activities and ensure team compliance with company policies. Collaborate with management teams to develop landscaping plans that align with aesthetic goals and environmental sustainability standards. Requirements Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping with a focus on turf management. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor settings; strong crew management skills essential. Knowledge of horticulture practices including plant identification, tree care, gardening techniques, and ground maintenance. Expertise in turf identification, disease management and weed control. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in operating grounds maintenance equipment and landscaping tools safely and efficiently; valid driver's license for company vehicle operation required. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions; excellent physical stamina is necessary for this role. Ability to plan strategically while paying close attention to detail in all aspects of grounds management.
