We're looking for a team lead for our Mechanicsville greenhouse team. Qualities we're looking for: Enthusiastic plant lover always seeking out learning opportunities, has a natural retailers mindset, and The primary responsibility of the greenhouse team lead is to organize and participate in daily greenhouse operations and ensure order fulfillment is completed properly.
Starting Hourly Pay Rate:
$17.00
Scheduling :
Full time schedule - Applicants must be able to work on

K Essential Responsibilities :
Organizes the greenhouse to increase efficiency for both the team and customers Rings the cash register and assists customers on a daily basis Leads greenhouse projects that increase the organization and efficiency of the retail department Assures greenhouse projects are completed in a timely manner Mentors a small team of greenhouse associates Creates and participates in Integrated Pest Management plans Participates in planning holiday operations/procedures (i.e. Easter, Christmas, and spring season) Communicates with vendors on purchasing houseplants, annuals, and perennial plants and completes purchase orders for that product Unloads trucks alongside their team Leads monthly and annual greenhouse maintenance (i.e. cleaning gutters, weeding, replacing glass etc.) with the support of the operations manager Performs other related duties as assigned by management This team member will be expected to obtain their Virginia Pesticide Applicator's License Interested in this job?
