These are 12 hour shifts, minimum four per month. Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients.
Position information:
This job is responsible for exercising delegated administrative responsibility and authority for the supervision of hospital personnel and functions within assigned facility, including patient care delivery, in the absence of Administrator or Department Director. Serves as the leader and resource person in facilitating efficient operational activities throughout the facility. Effectively serves as an administrative representative knowledgeable about hospital/organizational policy and procedures. Serves as a leader and key resource in facilitating efficient and safe operational activities throughout facility. Identifies, addresses and resolves, in coordination with Centralized Staffing Team, staffing issues when necessary. Plans and optimizes patient flow and placement, in coordination with Mission Control Bed Placement team and facility leadership (e.g. Directors, Managers and/or Charge Nurses). Responds to disasters, codes, emergencies, and other issues outside normal practices and flow. We offer competitive pay and benefits:
Hourly:
$53.39 - $84.43 depending on years of experience
Shift Differential:
Weekends $3.00, Nights $4.25 Employee Assistance Program up on hire 403B with discretionary match for those that participate in the plan and meet work requirements Paid Time Off - You will accrue Paid Sick and Safe Leave at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. Paid Sick leave cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date.
What We Require:
Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelors preferred.
Certification/License:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse licensed with Washington State or a current Compact License Basic Life Support (BLS) through
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Work Experience:
Minimum two year's experience as Registered Nurse a psychiatric facility Minimum one year in supervisory, management or other healthcare leadership capacity that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.
