Job Title Job Description Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Managing and coordinating the education and outreach interpretive services program. Providing direction, reviewing, planning, executing, and coordinating of all education and outreach interpretive services programs and activities for the park. Establishing long- and short-range goals and objectives, identifies needs, initiates, and recommends policies, programs, and standards to be used by education and community engagement staff in the accomplishment of these goals. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of all phases of education and community engagement operations on an annual and day-to-day basis. Planning and reviewing training of permanent and seasonal interpretive staff and provides guidance to subordinate supervisors on personnel issues. Preparing and revising budgets as necessary for all funds allotted to education and community engagement operations, monitoring expenditures to ensure compliance with long-term and short-term objectives. Oversee Yosemite's education and community engagement program, which helps connect 4 million visitors to the park, as well as foster relationships with other external communities that align with the park's missions and objectives.
