Wellington Lake, near Bailey, Colorado (just over an hour from Denver)

Starting at $16/hour, based on experience
Season:
Spring/Summer Wellington Lake is a privately owned recreation area and campground offering year-round access to outdoor activities like fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, and camping. Our mission is to provide guests with a safe, enjoyable experience while protecting and conserving this stunning natural area for future generations. We're looking for friendly, reliable Seasonal Park Rangers to join our team and help us deliver exceptional visitor services. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-use recreational setting while working in a collaborative and welcoming environment. Ranger Responsibilities Operate a cash register and manage daily sales Open and close the visitor center and rental shop Check guests in for camping and day use Provide information and education to visitors Maintain and assist with rental equipment Support special events and group activities Patrol campground, trails, day use areas, and property perimeter Enforce park rules and regulations Resolve guest concerns courteously and professionally Split and stack firewood Remove trash and ash from campsites and fire rings Respond to emergencies and assist as needed Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Friendly and professional demeanor Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong communication and customer service skills Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed Must pass a background check and drug screening If you love the outdoors and enjoy helping others, we'd love to hear from you!
