Job Description

Ginnie Springs is Seeking Experienced Park Rangers Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available. Day Shift & Night Shift Positions Available Join our team at Ginnie Springs Outdoors as a Park Ranger and be a part of ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors. We're searching for candidates with backgrounds in law enforcement, the United States Armed Forces, correctional facilities, firefighting, paramedics, and security work to uphold park regulations and protect our natural resources. As a Park Ranger, you'll work under the guidance of the Park Ranger Supervisor, focusing on the following responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor park grounds, facilities, and swimming areas to uphold Ginnie Springs Outdoors regulations and safety standards. Enforce rules and policies with tact and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience for all guests. Conduct patrols via golf cart or on foot to maintain surveillance and deter trespassing. Provide information about park services, facilities, rules and activities. Execute emergency procedures when needed, liaising with local law enforcement and fire/rescue teams. Maintain detailed logs and prepare incident reports as required. Perform light maintenance duties and respond to inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly. Assist with organizing and overseeing special events as directed. Operate vehicles, two-way radios, and other equipment effectively and professionally. Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. One (1) year of experience in Park Ranger duties, military service, law enforcement, or related fields. Valid Florida Driver's License. Equivalent combinations of education and experience in relevant fields may be considered.
Physical Demands:
Regular walking, standing, lifting, reaching, and bending. Excellent finger/hand dexterity and hand/eye coordination. Good eyesight, hearing, and speech.
Work Environment:
Exposure to outdoor conditions (heat/cold/rain) for extended periods. Interaction with various elements including bright/dim lights, dust/pollen, noise, and moving vehicles and machinery
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
