90 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Position Description Centennial Lakes Park is now accepting applications for various 2026 Summer Seasonal Positions. These positions ideally will work May through August/September. The following positions are available for the 2026 season.
Park Services & Maintenance Horticulture Aide Essential Functions Park Services & Maintenance:
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of park buildings, grounds, and pathways. Duties include mowing, cleaning, trash removal, painting, and other general maintenance tasks. This position also assists with set-up, tear-down, and monitoring of special event rentals and concerts. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Horticulture Aide:
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining plant beds and streetscapes throughout the park. Duties include weeding, pruning, trimming, planting, watering, and mulching to support the overall appearance and health of park landscaping. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Qualifications Must be 16 years of age or older Driver's license required Excellent customer service skills Additional qualifications vary by position. Formal training and education in Horticulture or closely related field is preferred. Experience in maintaining plants and shrubs or a strong interest in doing so is also preferred. Candidate must be available to work some evenings, weekends & holidays. Approximately 15-40 hours per week.
Supplemental Information Physical Requirements:
Occasional daily standing or walking to perform park maintenance or horticulture activities. Infrequent daily lifting and carrying of supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds. Assistive devices available. Position requires occasional pushing/pulling, bending/kneeling/squatting, grasp and reach for routine assigned tasks.
Working Conditions :
The position is performed primarily outdoors with exposure to inclement weather, outdoor allergens including insects and wildlife, slippery surfaces and uneven ground, noise generated from equipment operation. Use of various personal protective equipment (PPE) for identified hazards. Some requirements in this job description may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves or other employees.
