Job Description

St. Louis County Park Rangers provide services to the community by providing programming, protection, and public relations to visitors of the County parks system. This seasonal position will a ssist Park Rangers by directing traffic movement and parking of vehicles within County parks and parking lots. The salary is between $16.69 - $18.21 hourly and there are no benefits provided. For general questions on the role, please reach out to the manager:

CFechter@stlouiscountymo.gov Essential Function Examples Place, adjust and remove barricades and traffic cones to assist in the safe movement of pedestrians or vehicular traffic. Assist park visitors by answering questions about the park property, facilities and attractions to facilitate and enhance park usage and ensure satisfactory visitor experiences. Collect fees and prepare daily reports to account for monies received at concessions. Conduct park use surveys and disseminate information at designated booths to assist with special projects as needed by the Department. Perform routine tasks such as cutting grass, moving and transporting supplies and equipment by vehicles to assist in special event set up. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Applicants must be at least 16 years old with customer service experience.
