Additional information and how to apply can be found at: https://www.ncparks.gov/state-parks/falls-lake-state-recreation-area/jobs Duties include working with park staff on grounds maintenance projects (including the use of lawnmowers and weed eaters), collecting litter and cleaning bathrooms and facilities, trail and campsite maintenance, and assisting with repair projects throughout the park. The right candidate for this position should have a can-do attitude, be willing to learn, and must be able to interact with the general public in a positive manner. Most of the work completed in this position is performed outdoors and in all weather conditions. Applicants must be able to work outside in hot weather for extended periods of time. For a motivated candidate, this can be an excellent opportunity to learn many new skills. Working weekends, holidays, and some evenings is required. Applicants MUST be at least 18 years old AND have a valid NC driver's license.
