At minimum, you should be prepared with: Tent rated for the season and Oregon weather conditions Sleeping bag and sleeping pad 72-hour emergency supply of non-perishable food and water in case camp food stations or resupply access is disrupted Water storage and a means to refill or purify Safe food storage method (bear-resistant container or equivalent) Weather-appropriate clothing, boots, and personal hygiene supplies Daily meals are typically provided through on-site food stations at most camps, but officers must be self-sufficient for emergencies. A complete required gear and food storage checklist will be provided once your application is reviewed.
