Job Description

The City of Sugar Land is seeking a part-time Park Ambassador in the Parks and Recreation Department. Why Should You Join Our Team? We also promote a healthy work-life balance and personal development . As a Park Ambassador , you will: Be responsible for driving city vehicles to monitor City parks. Routinely check park equipment to ensure it is properly functioning. Ensure that parks and fields are being used properly by patrons. Interact with patrons on a regular basis and provide excellent customer service. Work special events and special programs that are hosted by the City and the Parks and Recreation Department. Required to work as an essential employee before, during and after an emergency or disaster. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct supervisor or Director. Stay abreast of, and comply with, all City and departmental policies and procedures.
Formal Education:
High School diploma or GED Training (License and/or Certification): Valid Texas Driver's License Class C The citizens of Sugar Land depend on City employees before, during and after an emergency or disaster to provide or restore essential public services for the health, safety and quality of life for our community. In the event of a wide scale emergency that could impact our community, all employees must be ready to assist in managing the crisis and will be considered essential for the continuity of governmental operations.
