Pest Control Technician

Role Description This is a part-time, on-site position (with the potential to transition to full-time during our busier seasons ) for a Pest Control Technician serving the Phoenix Metro Area in Arizona . As a Pest Control Technician with Polite Pest Control , you will play a key role in protecting our customers' homes and businesses while delivering an exceptional customer experience. We are looking for individuals who are outgoing, personable, reliable, and take pride in their work , as our technicians represent the face of our company in the field. Responsibilities include conducting thorough property inspections , identifying pest activity and conducive conditions, and implementing effective Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies to resolve pest issues. Technicians will apply treatments safely and according to industry regulations, while educating customers on prevention techniques and answering questions about pest activity and control methods. This role requires strong communication and customer service skills , as technicians regularly interact with homeowners and businesses. Ideal candidates should be comfortable building rapport with customers, explaining services clearly, and ensuring every client feels valued and confident in the service they receive. Additional responsibilities include documenting service details accurately, maintaining company equipment and service vehicles, following all safety and regulatory guidelines, and representing Polite Pest Control with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude . We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoy working both independently and with a team . Qualifications Experience in Pest Control and familiarity with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques Knowledge of PEST processes and effective application of pest management solutions Strong Communication skills for providing client education and maintaining professional relationships Experience in Lawn Care or outdoor yard maintenance is a plus Physical fitness to perform job duties, such as standing, bending, and lifting equipment A valid driver's license and the ability to operate company vehicles High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are preferred
