Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a QAL Pest Control Technician, where your expertise will help safeguard homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces from unwanted pests. In this energetic role, you'll perform targeted pest management treatments, conduct inspections, and provide exceptional service to clients. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure effective pest elimination while promoting safe and environmentally responsible practices. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues and assess treatment needs Apply pest control treatments using appropriate methods, including spray, baiting, or trapping techniques Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, and follow-up recommendations for clients. File monthly reports to stay in compliance with County guidelines. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and efficiently during treatment procedures Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and environmentally friendly practices Drive company vehicle to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws Assist with lawn care, landscaping, or landscaping tasks as needed to support overall property health and pest management efforts Requirements Qualified Applicator License Prior experience or knowledge in pest control, lawn care, landscaping, or irrigation is highly desirable Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, landscape machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving company vehicle between locations Strong communication skills to explain procedures clearly and professionally to clients Willingness to learn new techniques related to pest management and landscape maintenance Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods Basic understanding of landscape management practices and the use of hand tools or power tools is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a tangible difference in community health while expanding their skills in pest control, lawn care, or land management.
