Evaluate infestations, apply treatments according to strict safety regulations, and advise clients on prevention. Basic Core Responsibilities Inspections:
Conduct thorough interior and exterior property inspections to locate pests, entry points, and structural damage.
Treatment Application:
Safely prepare and apply chemical, biological, or physical treatments (sprays, dusts, baits, traps).
Client Consultation:
Explain treatment options, provide cost estimates, and educate clients on preventive measures.
Compliance:
Adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding pesticide use and environmental protection.
Documentation:
Keep accurate daily logs of services rendered, chemicals used, and equipment maintenance.
Basic Requirements & Qualifications Licensing:
Valid state-issued pesticide applicator license or certification (such as a structural pest control license).
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
License:
Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to walk, stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortably access tight spaces like crawl spaces and attics.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving, time-management, and customer service skills. Basic Work Environment Requires working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
