Job Description
Position Overview As a Pest Control Technician, you will provide on-site pest control services , educate customers, and represent Oso Pest Control with professionalism. This role is ideal for someone who likes working independently, being outdoors, and interacting with customers. Key Responsibilities Service & Treatment Perform pest control treatments for ants, spiders, rodents, roaches, and more Inspect properties and identify pest issues Apply treatments safely and in compliance with regulations Set traps, bait stations, and exclusion solutions as needed Customer Interaction Communicate clearly with customers before and after service Educate customers on prevention and recommendations Provide excellent customer service to build long-term relationships Route Management Complete a daily service route efficiently Maintain accurate service notes and reports Manage time and communicate delays or issues Upsells & Growth Identify opportunities for recurring services or upgrades Recommend additional services when appropriate Help generate positive reviews and referrals Qualifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage a schedule Comfortable working outdoors and around pests Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Preferred (but not required): Pest control experience Branch 2 License (or willingness to obtain) Experience in home services or route-based work Compensation & Benefits $20 - $28/hour (based on experience) Commission on upsells and service plans Performance bonuses (production, reviews, retention) Company vehicle Paid training and licensing support Growth opportunities into Lead Technician or Supervisor roles What Success Looks Like in This Role Routes are completed efficiently and on time Customers are happy and leave positive reviews High retention of recurring service accounts Consistent upsells and service recommendations Why Join Oso Pest Control?
