Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Technician and become a vital part of maintaining healthy, pest-free environments for our clients at APM. In this energetic role, you'll deliver effective pest management solutions, utilizing your knowledge of pest control techniques. Your proactive approach will help ensure customer satisfaction while promoting safe and sustainable practices. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in pest management, and the use of various tools and machinery. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues and potential risks Apply appropriate pest control treatments using specialized chemicals and equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed Utilize hand tools, power tools and other equipment to perform treatments and maintenance tasks efficiently Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and customer interactions for compliance and quality assurance Educate clients on pest prevention strategies, and tips to property maintenance for best practices Experience /requirements No experience needed Clean and valid driver's license Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and land management equipment Excellent emglish communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members those who ALSO speak Spanish will have a higher chance of being hired as a large amount of clients/residents speak Spanish Ability to follow safety procedures meticulously when handling chemicals and operating machinery Basic understanding of sales techniques is a plus for promoting additional services or products Being able to read labels to find mixture rates Join APM to make a tangible difference in communities by providing reliable pest control solutions while honing your skills in performing treatments and customer service.
