Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Technician, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces from unwanted pests. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply chemical agents safely and effectively using proper pesticide management techniques, including handling pest control chemicals and following pesticide application knowledge standards. Operate company vehicles and power tools responsibly while maintaining compliance with driving safety regulations. Utilize ladders safely for high-access areas and perform confined space entry safety procedures when necessary. Implement integrated pest management strategies to control pests sustainably while minimizing environmental impact. Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans, safety precautions, and follow-up procedures to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, treatments performed, and safety protocol adherence for compliance purposes. Requirements Proven experience in pest control, outdoor work, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable. Knowledge of pesticide application techniques and chemical agent handling is essential. Familiarity with ladder use, ladder safety procedures, power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, and other equipment used in pest management tasks. Understanding of entomology principles related to pest identification and behavior. Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly; a valid driver's license is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Commitment to safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection and confined space entry safety procedures. Mechanical knowledge or experience with farm machinery is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions; physical ability to perform manual tasks involving lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
