Job Description
Overview We are opening a new Aquila branch in Fort Myers, FL and are looking to hire experienced Pest Control Technicians as soon as possible. Florida certification (CPCO) is not required for this role — technicians will work under the license of our certified CPCO. If you do hold an active CPCO certification, that's a plus and should be noted on your application, but it is not necessary to apply. Qualified applicants should have hands-on pest control experience and be ready to step into the role quickly. This position involves providing safe, effective pest management solutions for residential and commercial customers while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, customer service, and safety. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working outdoors, experienced with tools and company vehicles, and eager to contribute to a growing pest control team from the ground up at a brand-new branch. Duties Conduct inspections of properties to identify pest issues and assess the extent of infestations Apply appropriate pest control treatments using industry-standard methods and equipment, under the direction of the branch's certified operator Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and recommend ongoing maintenance plans Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment as needed for treatment applications Maintain accurate records of service visits, treatments performed, and client interactions Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all driving regulations and safety protocols Ensure all work areas are cleaned and maintained according to safety standards Requirements Prior experience in pest control required; active Florida CPCO certification is a plus but not required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads when necessary Willingness to learn industry best practices and safety procedures Must be detail-oriented with a focus on quality service delivery This position is ideal for individuals passionate about pest control work who want to be part of a new branch from day one. Candidates should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
