Job Description

BKK Services is seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to support a portfolio of managed properties across Central Florida, Venice, and Clearwater. This role is responsible for providing professional pest control services across multiple apartment communities and operating independently to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective pest management. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pest inspections across residential units, common areas, and building exteriors
  • Identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment methods
  • Apply pest control treatments using approved products and techniques
  • Manage and maintain a service schedule for all assigned properties
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, and chemicals used
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and environmental regulations
  • Educate on-site staff and residents on pest prevention and best practices
  • Install and maintain monitoring devices, traps, and bait stations
  • Respond promptly to service requests and urgent pest issues
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in a safe and professional manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management Technical Responsibilities
  • Pest Identification
  • Identify insects, rodents, and other pests and determine proper control strategies
  • Treatment Application
  • Apply sprays, baits, traps, and preventative products in compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Monitoring & Prevention
  • Install and service bait stations, exclusion materials, and monitoring systems
  • Documentation
  • Maintain chemical usage logs and property treatment records
  • Equipment Use
  • Safely operate sprayers, applicators, PPE, and pest control equipment Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
    Experience:
    Prior pest control or related property services experience required
      Licenses/Certifications:
      • Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required). Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel between multiple property locations
      • Florida Registered Pest Control Technician or Certified Operator (required or ability to obtain quickly)
      • Category certifications for general household pests, rodents, and other applicable areas (preferred) Skills and Abilities
      • Ability to work independently across multiple properties
      • Strong organizational and time-management skills
      • Strong communication and customer service skills
      • Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated
      • Physically able to perform inspections, treatments, lifting, climbing, and outdoor work
      • Commitment to safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility Schedule
