Job Description:

Universal Pest Control Technicians are field technicians; they deliver our services to our customers. This position requires experience in rodent control, exclusion work, termite services, insulation, and general pest control (PC) — or experience in most of these areas with the ability and willingness to learn the rest. Universal Technicians must be safe drivers and must consistently provide exceptional customer service. As part of providing great customer service, we expect our technicians to assist with collecting payments from customers when necessary. Universal Technicians organize the pest control routes assigned to them and perform a variety of services depending on customer needs, including rodent control, exclusion work, termite treatments, insulation services, and general pest control. Technicians set necessary follow-up services with existing customers based on conditions at the property or properties they service. We expect our Universal Technicians to work closely with our Service Managers regarding safety requirements, product needs, and job specifications. We require all technicians to maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism. Universal Technicians must be organized, maintain clean work vehicles, and keep up with vehicle service needs. Technicians must be able to handle any other duties as assigned by GMs and/or Service Managers and be able to routinely move heavy objects (such as 50 lb bags).
