Pest Control Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, as well as experience in related fields such as lawn care, landscaping, or agriculture. You will utilize your skills in driving and operating various tools and machinery to ensure effective pest management solutions. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment plans. Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively, adhering to all regulations and safety guidelines. Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients on pest prevention strategies and maintenance practices. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and follow-up recommendations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as necessary for pest control operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and techniques in pest control. Qualifications Previous experience in pest control or related fields such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is preferred. Strong sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of services to clients. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols in all aspects of work.
