Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest issues and assess environmental conditions. Present customized pest control solutions, explaining treatment options, safety procedures, and benefits clearly to clients. Promote and sell pest management services, ensuring clients understand the value of integrated pest management strategies. Operate ladders safely for access to elevated areas during inspections or treatments, adhering strictly to ladder safety procedures. Stay current on entomology knowledge, pesticide application techniques, and integrated pest management practices through ongoing training. Qualifications Proven experience in sales with excellent customer service skills; background in pest control or related fields is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge and experience operating ladders safely are essential. Familiarity with confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection protocols. Knowledge of chemical agent handling, pesticide management, and pesticide application techniques. Understanding of pest control chemical handling regulations and integrated pest management principles. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and outdoor equipment confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles preferred. Experience working outdoors in lawn care, landscaping, farming or agricultural environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
