Job Description 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed Job Expectations As a service technician for Nomo Pest Solutions your job will be to complete customers pest control services. This can include both interior and exterior services. We are looking for strong, hardworking, and reliable employees who are willing to give customers a superior pest control service and make Nomo even better. You will have an operations manager who will be scheduling your routes, help you with customers, and help you in any way they can including helping watch over and help the other technicians. We will provide a company vehicle and gas card that you will use to store the product and equipment needed for the services. Duties and Responsibilities Work Monday-Saturday Start On Time. Show up to all services on your route and give them superior service. Show up to weekly meetings to learn about new services or laws, and to collect payment. As a lead you will be in charge of these meetings and make sure the product is up to date in the vehicles as well. Education and Experience We do prefer high school graduation or the equivalent, but it's not necessary. No experience required. All training will be paid time and completed in the first 2 weeks after hire At least 1 year of experience as a commercial applicator and prefer management or assistant management experience of at least 3 months. Must possess a structural, ornamental and wildlife license. If your wildlife license is not valid or you do not have it you must be willing to obtain the certification before becoming the lead. Must be willing to lead and be open to suggestions and follow guidelines from the DOA, the heads of Operations, and the Operations manager of the Iowa Branch and report directly to them. Also be willing to work with the Licensing Specialist and Product Specialist of the Company and be willing to adapt the service as they see fit. Qualifications Clean driving record and current drivers license Be able to hold a 40 lb backpack and 60 LB fogger A smartphone that can download apps. Good attitude and want to make a difference in the company. Uniform We will provide you with 3-5 company shirts You will need to bring your own long pants, and close toed shoes - Required Schedule Your regular shift will be 8-4 Monday-Friday.
