Pest Control Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pest control services for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pest control, lawn care, and related fields, along with excellent customer service and sales skills. You will work independently, utilizing your knowledge of agricultural practices and pest management techniques to ensure the satisfaction of our clients. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and recommend appropriate treatment plans. Apply pesticides and other pest control methods safely and effectively, following all regulations and guidelines. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on pest prevention strategies. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and materials used. Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as necessary for pest control tasks. Collaborate with the team to develop effective pest management strategies that align with client needs. Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Requirements Previous experience in pest control or a related field such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is preferred. Strong sales skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and promote services. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery relevant to the role. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently across multiple job sites. Knowledge of local regulations regarding pesticide application and safety practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
