General Job Objectives:
Responsible for ensuring that our customers expectations for their pest control are being met or exceeded.
Position Summary:
The Pest Technician assists in providing expert pest care services on residential and commercial properties. As a certified technician, you work independently in a company provided vehicle and with proper equipment to treat inside and outside of customer's properties.
Essential Duties & Task:
Applies pesticide application in or around customer's properties according to state regulations. Evaluate property on each visit and note any issues or concerns related to pest problems or other issues. Keep detailed notes about every visit. Communicate with office about any issues in the field. Educate customer on best practices, products used, and results by delivering exceptional customer service. Keep customers up to date on their pest care program. Safely and properly operate company equipment. Responsible for maintaining company vehicles. Manage designated route and territory. Drives all non-CDL vehicles and performs (un)loading of equipment and materials. Drives company vehicles and operates other assigned equipment. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Desired Experience:
1
  • 2 years pest care industry; 7A, 7B, 7S certification preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
Problem solving, attention to detail, self-motivated, personable, team player.
Requirements:
High School graduate or GED; valid driver's license and a good driving background. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
