The IPM Technician is a key player at Pest-End, responsible for executing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies that ensure effective pest control while minimizing environmental impact. This role demands a hands-on approach in various settings, thorough knowledge of pest biology, and strong customer service skills.Essential Job Functions:
1. Accurately identify pests and assess infestation levels to determine effective treatment plans. 2. Apply chemical and non-chemical treatments safely and effectively, adhering to all regulatory requirements. 3. Regularly monitor pest activity and modify treatment strategies based on site-specific dynamics and client feedback. 4. Maintain and calibrate pest control equipment and manage supplies inventory to ensure operational readiness. 5. Educate clients on pest behavior, treatment procedures, and preventive measures, enhancing their understanding and cooperation in IPM practices. 6. Complete detailed service reports documenting treatments, pest activity, and client interactions to maintain service quality and compliance. 7. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry standards and emerging technologies in pest management. 8. Respond to emergency pest situations promptly, providing solutions and easing client concerns. 9. Collaborate with team members and the IPM Area Supervisor to enhance service efficacy and customer satisfaction. 10. Maintain Outlook email and Teams account. (Checking emails a MIN of twice daily.)Requirements:

Physical Requirements for Pest Control Technicians While performing the job responsibilities, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. The team member is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position may require the use of ladders for specific service. The ability to maneuver and operate a ladder. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
