Pest Control Technician / General Laborer

Join the Mosquito Joe Team! Mosquito Joe of South Shore Long Island is hiring! Mosquito Joe is waiting for you to join our team as a Technician / Laborer. Our office is located in the Deer Park, NY area. We are seeking highly efficient Service Technician's for our rapidly expanding business. We provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, repelling and killing outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, fleas and ticks. Currently part-time & full-time opportunities are available!. This is a seasonal opportunity that runs through the end of mosquito season, we are currently hiring for the 2026 season. We will begin servicing our customers in April and will continue to do so until around November.

MUST HAVE A VALID NYS DRIVERS LICENSE

$18 - $20 per hour based on Experience Bonus opportunities Flexible scheduling Outdoor work environment Develop professional skills Tips The responsibilities of a Technician / Laborer includes: Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues. Maintain good customer relations by providing excellent customer relation skills. Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order. Keeping accurate records of treatments provided. Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides in accordance with State and Federal laws. Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures. Advise customers of potential problems and solutions. Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes. Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage. Participate in technician team meetings. Have ability to operate a company vehicle safely and perform work safely. The qualifications of a T echnician / Laborer includes: This is an opportunity for a great career with no experience necessary; we will train you. No previous experience needed. Be able to lift minimum of 60 lbs. Must be at least 18 years old. A valid NYS driver's license. Must be Professional, Detail Orientated, Friendly, Hardworking, and Reliable. Enjoy working outside. Excel in a position of independence & responsibility.

Schedule :

Day shift. Monday to Friday with some Saturdays depending on the weather. Weekend availability

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Pest control: Not needed but it is a plus!
