Allegheny Pest Control is looking for a hardworking, dependable Pest Control Technician to join our growing locally owned business! The ideal candidate would be willing to learn, honest and trustworthy, and a people-person who is excited to interact with a multitude of residential and commercial clients. No previous pest control experience required - we provide all necessary training and licensing! This entry level opportunity will allow you to grow and develop in the Pest Control world and take part in the excitement of a growing small business.

As a Pest Control Technician with Allegheny Pest Control, you will: Maintain scheduled weekly service routes in the Greater Pittsburgh Area independently Communicate respectfully and clearly with clients - convey findings, discuss and explain treatment options, and guide them thoughtfully through the process Maintain the utmost professionalism when on the road and in clients' homes Carefully administer all treatments in accordance with the latest Pest Control standards, with the same care you would in your own home Safely operate, maintain, and care for the provided company vehicle Accurately complete required paperwork/notes to ensure accurate invoicing and records Compy with all safety regulations and continuing education requirements Position Requirements include: At least 21 years of age High School Diploma or Equivalent A Valid US Driver's License Background Check, Clean Driving Record, and Drug Screen Required Ability to successfully complete state pesticide applicator licensing process Demonstrated customer service skills Ability to work with stinging and/or biting pests Demonstrated attention to detail to process paperwork and take quality notes Possess basic math and writing skills Be able to lift up to 50 lbs Able to safely handle, mix, and apply pesticides and the chemicals associated with them
