Pest Control Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, have experience with various tools, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points. Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to individual client needs. Apply appropriate pest control treatments using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including products used and recommendations made. Educate clients on preventative measures to minimize future pest issues. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in pest control. Experience Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, lawn care, and landscape maintenance is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in sales discussions with clients regarding pest management solutions. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
